For any of you out there familiar with them, how are they holding up? I like the all aluminum/composite idea in regards to maintenance and there is a dealer right up the road from me. Thank you.

I was wondering the same thing. If you don't get any answers , I found some user reviews of a mix of tt's and tc's , dont know if you saw them . I was concerned about them transmitting cold and heat which they seem to do .

Those were a few of my concerns as well, thanks for the link.

First, I like the whole no wood concept. With no insulation under the floor It has got to be expensive to heat and cool. Not a winter camper. The optional rug seems to be their answer.

I am looking at one of these for myself a 10' model. I know that these truck campers are insulated with block foam insulation and they have laminated walls and roof with 3" of insulation at the crown of the roof. And that they are aluminum framed. I also know that the floor is all alluminum and not insulated unless you have the factory spray on an insulator called Lizard Skin, or I think you could over come that with a good insulated carpet. ( I also like the fact that you can hse these things out with a garden hose) with that said I believe that they are as well insulated as any other tc built, and they are built to last a lifetime, even the cabinets are made of aluminum. I also noticed on their facebook that they now offer a simulated wood interior (there ia a picture of one). The other factor for me is that the 10' tc weighs 2,200 lbs. pretty well loaded up. I have done a lot of homework leading up to this process and I am covinced that unless you are religious with your caulking maintenence (yearly at least) that rot is a major problem with tc's. I only want to buy one good one. The economy has changed my way of thinking.

Foam mats might be a good option for this camper. I use solid gray foam mats in my trucks bed as a bed mat and i also have my interior camper floor lined with them . I use my tc in the winter and the floor is very warm and soft to walk/stand on. Seems like good enough insulation and inexpensive. Inside floor is easy to remove and easy to clean .

I think this is an excellent camper, built for years of service and probably very good resale value. I hope that you make a good decision.

I don't have a Livin Lite.

Here's maybe some good news though. I got an email from FWC, after browsing their website the other day. It seems that they are authorizing at least one Dealership. The email contained their info.

They used to be manufactured here in Denver, but moved YEARS ago. FWC was the primary supplier of Bronco, Blazer, Pop UPs.

My previous post may not be helpful after all. I thought that Livin Lite had a truck Pop Up unit. That was what I was thinking when I posted.

So unless you want a TC PUP, not so much.

The FWC does however have the full aluminum frame, and have been making them that way for years. They seem to hold up well. If I recall they left Dnvr 25 years ago, or so, and they were already making them that way then.

Didn't mean to high jack your thread.
