2010 Toyota Tundra. 5.7 L V-8, 4wd. I'm towing a Keystone Cougar 29rls bumper pull (X-Lite version). Truck pulls the trailer fine. Yet we could always hope for a little more power and MPG at the same time.

I have no doubt the Flowmaster or Magnaflow exhaust systems and cold air intakes do what they say but is it worth it. Have any of you experienced it?

What about warranties? Does it void existing warranties or does it just void the warranty on that particular part? If Flowmaster offers a lifetime warranty, what difference would it make if you void the manufacture warranty.

I would probably steer clear of the chips and such. Anybody with advice?

I spent all sorts of money on headers, exhaust, intakes, high flow air filters, etc. on my old gasser. ALL of it was a WASTE of money that I should have saved for buying the diesel. The diesel solved my towing performance problems and I got better fuel economy to boot.

edit: when not towing, the old gasser was bad a$$ sounding!

My advice is to leave it stock. If you get a CAI, get a dry element. If you hop it up, get the turbo kit. Its only money

Yes it will void all your warranties on your truck. Like said above, save your money and buy a bigger truck. Anytime you are at the max a vehicle can haul, you will burn more fuel. A bigger truck with a higher tow rating loaded to half of its max, will get better performance and fuel economy.

Exhaust gets annoying when towing FYI. Old truck had it and this one will not unless you find a quite option.

I'm not asking for miracles here. If you read the different websites they will swear it to be true. And since it is on the internet, I assumed it had to be true.

You do know what A.S.S.U.M.E. means don't you?
There is only two things that will increase your fuel mileage.
Tow slower and tow lighter. Actually three. Get rid of the big box you are trying to tow and get a tent trailer or something that lowers for less drag.

As mentioned, a low restrictive exhaust will become very annoying when towing a long distance. A cold air system does not do a great job filtering the air.
Save your money.
