Tell the dealer what you are looking for in price and they will work with you. We bought a 2011 3055RL new in 2010 and have enjoyed it very much. We're impressed with both the quality and amenities. We've taken several long trips and have been comfortable in it. The only thing we regret is not being able to take more trips with it due to both of us working full time.

This is from the Heartland owners forum. BTW, I've owned a 2011 Bighorn 3385 for about a year now and have been very happy with it.
I bought from Holman and would recommend them.

To the quality of the Bighorn....we've lived fulltime in ours for five years and it's held up beaautifully. Any issues we've encountered, I think would have occurred on any brand considering the constant use and over 60K miles we've put on it.

Think you'll be happy with you're decision.

You should have no problem scoring a 2012 on a volume dealer site for the 50k range... As I said, slow time of year and 2013s are knocking on the door.

Ours also has the early bath. Super glad we bought when we did. I would miss the door going into the bedroom. I am 6'3 and 240 and have no problem in the "old style" shower. As far as price I wouldnt be afraid to give them a low ball price, all they can say is no. But 40% off is a fair deal. Then see if the want to budge off of theirs.
Oh, this trailer has been fantastic and is solid as a rock compared to many I have been in.

I just looked at a 2011 Jayco Pinnacle 36REQS at Mardens Trailer Sales in Havre Montana.I thought it was a lot nicer then the Big Horn. This unit was totally loaded. It had full body paint, Thermal pane windows, Polar package, Sleep number mattress, Ledgestone fireplace, Central vac, Generator prep, Slide out awnings, Convection/microwave, 12 cu ft 4 door refrigerator, Corian counter tops, Aluminum wheels, 40" Tv and 22" Tv in bedroom and lots more. The Jayco MSRP on it was over 82,00.00. They have it on closeout for 57,000.00. I did go to Jayco.com and did the build your own and the retail came up at 82,00.00 as well. That dealership sells a ton of units into Canada. It was a gorgeous unit and like I said I thought it was a step above the big Horn. Looks like an awful good buy to me.

I've had my Pinnacle 36REQS now for almost a year (Feb '11) and can honestly say I've loved every minute with the Pinnacle. We get complements every camp trip and it has worked flawless.. no matter rain, shine, snow, sleet, thunderstorms, 100Deg heat.. no matter what the weather outside or the road conditions.. the Pinnacle has been a dream to have!

Def a satisfied Jayco owner!!

I see you have a Curt. How is it working for you?

Just installed a Curt 24k this week and looking forward to hooking up our new Pinnacle 36KPTS when it comes in mid March.
