Hi all
We bought a new to us Crossroads Cruiser 5th wheel. It has bunks for kids that measure 72" x 24". The DW would like to get new fitted sheets for the mattresses but we have had no luck so far looking in local stores. Does anyone know where to find these odd size sheets?
Thank you
Peter

You can have them made by a shop that does tailoring. Not "$4.99 from Anna's" cheap but not outrageous and you can pick your own fabrics and trim. It's kinda neat to have something custom made even if it's as simple as sheets.

I think a sleeping bag liner would fit pretty well, and actually give you a reversible mattress since you put the whole pad inside.
This "sleep sack" at REI measures 86x35 inches...

When I put a new mattress in the TT, I had a seamstress resize the sheets and I got a very nice fit for both the flat and fitted. It was $15 and well worth it.

For the bunks the full fitted sheet can be put on and wrapped around entire bunk pad to cover the entire mattress. It fits perfectly.
By the way, I get the jersey knit sheets that have a good stretch.

Years ago I ordered some sheets that someone here said were great. They were terrible. Now I place a sheet upside down on the mattress and pin up the slack down the side. I sew down that seam.
I had some flannel sheets that I wanted to make bigger. To them I added a strip of flannel.
Be sure you leave a little extra room so they are not too tight
It takes minimal sewing skills.
We have four buns, two are standard bunk size, two are longer. The fifth bed is a short queen. The bunks I can just fold under the extra and fasten with clips but I preffered to sew mine.

Its been a few years but I used to have a TT with odd size single beds. J.C. Penny had a catalog called something like "Specialty Sheets". That's where I found mine. It had sheets for daybeds, futons and all sorts of other things. I don't know if it still exists.

I was just looking for sheets yesterday on line. Just search for "RV fitted sheets" and you'll get lots of hits.

In our Bunkhouse trailer my wife sewed sheets to form a bag type bottom sheet. Works great.

As shoe777 says use Full fitted for 24 inch wide. For my 30 inch wide bunks I use Queen size. Works great on both of them and the front bed is queen size, so I can use the same size on all.
