X4 for WallMart at $15. It's not a dog bone shape, it's a all in one plug. I doubt a government agency went cheap so you probably do not need it, but sooner or later you will.
This post is my opinion (free advice). It is not intended to influence anyone's judgment nor do I advocate anyone do what I propose.

Odds are you can plug in direct. That said Wall Mart, Camping World, Most any RV dealer and even the "Camp Store" at the campground will very likely have the adapter if you need it.
I do recommend carrying adapters both ways, (So you can plug into a 15/20 amp standard household outlet or to a 50) because.. well.. you never know till you get there.

We have used a dogbone type adapter for years, both for 50a to 30a, and I have one for two 30a into one 50a which I carry just in case. No problem 50 to 30, but watch out if going 20a to 30, as it is easy to overload and cause the adapter (or plug) to overheat.

Check with the park as they may provide a 'loaner' dog bone 50 amp to 30 amp.

Thanks everyone. Don't worry about it. Your unit will only draw what it needs, up to the 30A limit of the breaker.
All the 50A designation means is that it is capable of supplying 50 amps, it's not going to force anything to accept it.
It's the volts that matter and a 50A supply will provide you 120V via one of those adapters no problem.
You plug a table lamp at home into a 15A outlet don't you, even though it will draw less than 1 amp?

Exactly......even though the 'main' breaker to house is 100A

Ron: I've found parks that fit all categories:
- Only 30 amp
- Only 50 amp
- Both 30 and 50 amp
Most of them will also have a 20 amp plug on the pedastal. I use that one if I am doing any cooking outside that requires electricity.

So, to finish the story, I bought a conversion plug, got to the campsite, and sure enough, they also had 30 amp outlets on the post!
