Our next one (if we get another one) will be a small, go anywhere type TT, such as an A-liner or one of the Flagstaff hardsided pop ups. I want NOTHING to do with canvas! I don't want a gas sucking truck again (never thought I'd say this!), and I've really gotten to like my smaller Toyota RAV-4 (with tow package, just in case!).
You don't have to leave the forum, just b/c you're w/out a TT! I still enjoy it, even w/out a camper!
I know what you mean about the withdrawal symptoms. When we went out this morning, I looked for my Excursion and for a moment, thought someone had stolen it. I am with you. I don't want another gas hog. Am looking for a mid size pickup now. Just something to pull my boat with, and like you said, perhaps a small one. Thanks to all for your best wished. I will still be lucking around.

Hagarnerno1 - We also thought we was ready to stop RVing so sold the rig, a very nice 5th wheel with two slides & a ton 4 door Dodge diesel dually. After one summer staying in motels found it was time to rethink this picture. We now have a Chevy 1500 & a Rockwood Mini Lite 1809S TT. At 77 years of age this setup works very well for us. Making plans to make a sing thru AR, KY, OH, IN, IL this summer visiting family & friends. Love the ease of setting up & can fit into our kids & grand-kids driveways! Let them pay for the electricity - but we still can sleep in our own bed.

Good luck. As others have mentioned, please don't leave the forums. Your experience (and advice) is valuable and you will be helping newcomers.

Getting along in age and wife getting to the point she did not want to travel any more in the trailer
Well, maybe if you'd have let her ride in the TV with you this could have been delayed for years. Gotta give credit to ridin' around in a TT with no A/C, that's a tough lady.

That's a good thought. I thought all these years that she liked it back there. After all, that's where all the goodies were.
