The time in my life finally came. Getting along in age and wife getting to the point she did not want to travel any more in the trailer. I have been pondering over this moment for quiet a while now and finally bit the bullet. I have enjoyed chatting and occasionally offering a bit of advice on this forum and will still be lucking around. One bright spot is that a real nice family bought the rig and I know they will enjoy it as much as I have. Good Luck to you all..

Hi,
I hope you arranged "visiting rights" with the new owners.
I'll look forward to train travel after I can't rv anymore.

May the next chapter of your life be rewarding, healthy, and long.
I hope you will enjoy reading my journal about my bicycle ride, camping all the way across America at www.crazyguyonabike.com/doc/dean. We also RV in our '07 Starcraft Travel Star 23QB, pulled with a good old stout Isuzu Trooper. It works

There wont be so many CWB grain cars left to catch after its all dismantled and they got rid of those little speeders. Good luck trying to catch a train thats actually going somewhere where you actually want to go. Now if you were in Europe, you know as well as I do, thats a completely different ball game.

As has been said many times, we'll all get there at some point. Bet you have some great memories, and I'm happy for you that you were able to sell to a nice new owner. Best of luck to you in the future!

My inlaws spent 3 months travelling up to Alaska etc ending a lifetime of camping. When they got home they sold truck and trailer. Father in law is always dreaming about what kind of camper he'd buy if they won the lotto.
If you can get a Class B or something for a second vehicle then you can still be a little adventurous and bring the washroom along.

We're also without a camper now, and I went through severe withdrawals for the first few months. I'd still like to have another one, but the craving is fading a little. Our next one (if we get another one) will be a small, go anywhere type TT, such as an A-liner or one of the Flagstaff hardsided pop ups. I want NOTHING to do with canvas! I don't want a gas sucking truck again (never thought I'd say this!), and I've really gotten to like my smaller Toyota RAV-4 (with tow package, just in case!).
You don't have to leave the forum, just b/c you're w/out a TT! I still enjoy it, even w/out a camper!
