Our outside marker lamps, side, front top and back all went out while driving one evening. We own a 2005 Newmar gas coach, we checked every fuse, but all were good. We can't believe that every outside bulb went out at once, so it has got to be a short?? Anywhere else we can look or just let Newmar look at it? Thanks

If it was s short your fuse would be blown. Make sure when you check the fuses you test both posts on each fuse. You can touch the contact points without removing the fuses.

Do you have power at the lights? Take out a bulb and check while the system is supposed to be on.

Do you have a ground at the lights? See if the ground wire has continuity to the frame or negative post.

Not sure what chassis that you have but mine has TWO fuse blocks under the dash, one in the front basement, and one under the hood in the engine compartment. Check your owner's manual and make sure that you have checked all of the fuses. The main control for your clearance lights is the headlight switch. Check to see if a wire has been knocked loose from there.

When our lights went out, it was because of a corroded wiring harness connector that dangled under the rear engine, affected by all the road spray. The exposed wiring connector was replaced and wrapped with waterproof tape by the dealer.

For starters you need to tell us which gpasser you have. I have a 2004 Mountain Aire and I suspect that the wiring is the same on all of the gassers from that time frame. On the top off the dash in front of the driver seat you should have a panel that is approximately 13" x 19". Get a knife or screwdriver and pop the the panel off. If you flip it over you should see a diagram of the fuses and relays for the coach. If yours is wired the same as mine, you'll need to look at the fuses and relays for the Clearance lightts. On my coach it's F33, F34 and relays K2 and K3.

Please let us know how you make out.
