I too just use a 120 Volt flat screen works good for me, Run off 120 volt or an little 100 watt inverter.

We just got a 19" JVC LED/DVD combo @ Sams Club for $198.
Built an angled panel where the door used to be and used a piano hinge. Mounted the tv directly to the panel - tv is very thin and light. We made the same mod up front but have a 22" LED TV.

I got an ordinary 19" with built-in DVD player and a tilting swivel mount. I use bungee cords to keep it from flopping around while I'm driving. I made a dust cover for the whole thing from the TV packaging.
