Can anybody comment on whether this would be a good buy for me:2011 Pleasure Way Traverse at PPL Motorhomes? I traded my 07 Roadtrek Agile SS for a 2011 Class C Winnebago View (24' on Sprinter Chasis with a slide). I don't like it--too big and I can't use it daily, etc. I would love to trade it for this PW, but haven't actually been to Houston to look at it. If you have one with the Chevy V8, what kind of mpg do you get? How do you like it overall? Thanks for any help! I miss my B!

In 2009 I paid $60,000 total for a brand new PW Excel. I know they've gone up some in price, so all-in-all this doesn't look like a bad deal. Probably still a little negotiating room left. Nice Class B, however --- you'd be happy with it to be sure.

Your link is to a Lexor TS, not a Traverse.
IIRC, the Traverse is built only on a Ford platform.
And, IMHO, $70,000 (OK, $69,995) for a used 2011 Lexor is high.
Cheers.

You can check out the new price at the PW web site. Owners of the Lexor on the Chevy say they handle and ride great.

Looking at the pictures it is impressive. I however, would be looking close at the sleeping arrangements. I have a GW with a queen bed in the rear and find it somewhat difficult in the middle of the night if one has to use the bathroom Always having to crawl over the other person. maybe only important to me.

On many of the "B" with rear sleeping, you can make the bed as a normal queen, as twins, or as we do, a combination of the two. We have the rear (head end) full width, but leave out the section that fills the middle of the bed at our feet, which is also the aisle. It really reduces the wiggling down to the end of the bed to get up. You only have to climb over the other occupant on side to side sleepers, like the Roadtrek 170.

I stumbled across this:

Looks like a heck of a deal for a new, but 2 year old Pleasureway Excel. I would confirm the miles. I think these get 12-14 MPG; a lot less than you got with your RT Agile.
