That's right. I imagine they carry a wooden box or some other contraption that allows them to reach that first step!

I believe that rig sits on 40th St. between Fortuna and Foothills Bvld. When we used to go to Speedweeks in Daytona in the 70's and 80's there were always quite a few of these in the area.
