Are their fees to go into Teton and Yellowstone and if so would it be better to buy a pass?

There is a combined fee to enter Tetons/Yellowstone. That is good for one week. As for an annual pass it depends on whether you'll visit enough parks during the 12 months to make it cheaper. 3 or 4 major parks would make it more than worthwhile in a year.

One fee covers both parks for (I believe) 14 days (could be only 7 days).

Are you 62? If so, buy the $10 lifetime senior pass. Best bargain in America, and besides free admission, it often gives you half price in the NPS campgrounds.

There are fees for Teton, Yellowstone, and many other NPS properties.
There is an Annual Pass (now $80) for the NPS and other Federal recreational properties.
I've usually found it worthwhile to buy the annual pass on my first visit to a fee property after my previous pass expired. With the pass in hand, I would more likely visit parks and facilities I might otherwise pass by, because of the fees.
Most of the time that also worked for me with the Texas Parks and Wildlife recreational pass, as it took only a couple park visits with a carload of adults to accumulate fees equivalent to the cost of the pass.

You can buy whatever pass you choose at any National Park or you can buy on line Here. The pass is good for any and all national parks.
