If you plan to live in it as your home and pay the loan instead of rent it may make sense to try and finance it. If you just feel that you need to get away on vacation more often you really need to re-think your plan IMHO.

Thats funny on the Capital One credit card statement, because i just read an article about collection agencies getting into that business. We'll give you a credit card to pay off (non collectable debt anymore by law) an old debt. The benefit to the debtor is re-establishing credit. Collection agency gets their cut and probably something on the interest and the creditor gets paid. Sounds like a win win to me if you want to rebuild credit. AND I am not meaning to be rude either, but it sounds like the OP also may need a place to live as well as a daily driver. My advice for what ever it is worth would be to look for a Chinook type of MH rather than a class A. Again I don't know all the circumstances. If single, might be an option. Remember, you just can't park a 30 or so foot class A just anywhere and not draw attention. If the goal is a home as well and I was in that situation I would look in that direction. Less than a Class A and can be stealthly parked. Again, not trying to be rude or assume too much. Just adding thoughts

Bad things happen to good people so I won't try to pass judgment on your situation. That being said, do what ever it takes to try and get your credit rating back up. Then you can get what you want without being robbed by the high interest bandits out there. It's hard but can be done. This current economy has hurt a lot of good people that never thought they would be in money trouble. Hope everything works out for you soon. God bless you.

I was referring to the slanderous type of comments. When Johnny T. posts a comment to be kinder to the new people.
