POPS' post about how he displays dog poop got me ta thinking about poop bags in general.

Do you have a favorite? Doc mentions the standard Wal*Mart bag, which I have been known to use when I have to. My issue with Wal*Mart bags is that they are so dang big, they really hang down low when you are finishing up your "taking care of business" walk.

Personally, I prefer our local grocery store bags, which are somewhat smaller. They are also a more discreet tan color, as opposed to the blue or white, "look at me, I'm carrying poop", Wal*Mart bags.

No matter which bag you use, though, I think we can all agree it is essential to verify it's structural integrity before leaving on that walk!

I have a little bone-shaped dispenser that hangs from my belt for those doggie bags that come in a roll. It came with a plastic clip but I replaced it with a caribiner and split loop when it broke. I bought a huge pack of refills on amazon for diddly that are all blue, though in the pet stores I can get them in a rainbow of colors. I don't think I've needed to buy more for over a year, and I still have a third of them left.

I use the plastic grocery, Home Depot, etc. bags that don't have the holes in the bottom.

Ours are from a local pet store called Grab Bags. We have smaller dogs so they work very well of us.

We use the Walmart brand, Great Value twist tie bags. Everybody can see we have dog poop, but at least they know we pick up after our dogs. We carry them proudly!

With a 140lb dog we like to recycle store bags. I always have them in my pocket and I never have to worry about running out. I would rather people see me carrying my boy's waste than to think that I just left it. Carrying a bag = responsible ownership.
