My Norcold refrigerator is giving an error message that says that the high temperature switch is the on position. It will not turn on in either propane or electric mode.

I am awaiting the repairman and wonder if anyone knows anything about this.

You do NOT post the model, but Norcolds that have the Hi temp sensor will shut the power to the refer to prevent cooling unit damage from possible blocked ventilation. IF you have the 1200 series that is telling you your recall sensor has tripped. Doug

Norcold High Temp Limit

Page 27 describes switch and function

Page 64 gives location of switch

Also if you have had the recall done look at back of fridge (outside access) and see if 'red' light is on.

Howdy!

RV repair man came out today to check ours after they reformed the recall. We've been getting error codes also. He stated he has to order the "recall to the recall" and will come back next week to install it.
