Might be a good business model.

I'd love to find one, when we first got here a site owner cracked wise about how most people come here to die and my wife is already calling this place an "out-door nursing home",the other day my neighbour came over and asked if we could turn down our radio,,at 5 oclock! I'm not in favor of letting kids run like wild indians and i look back on my 50 years and the best times i ever had was campin' with my family,i believe that pairing kids with seniors is good for both of them. My grandkids are respectful of others and their surroundings and we take them whenever we can for as long as we can that way in forty+ years they can look back with a smile and remember better days with "Granny n' Poppa" campin',isn't what this lifestyle is supposed to be about???

I don't think anyone has a problem with well behaved kids (and dogs). It's the ones who don't know when enough is enough. The constant screaming (or barking), invading others sites and endangering property and vehicles. It's when the parents, who are the real problem, let their kids run wild and have no concept of respecting other peoples rights and space. I think the problem is that parents don't like or want to be bothered with PARENTING. Don't pawn your kids (behavior)off on me because your too lazy to raise them correctly...

I would never want to be in a park where grandkids weren't allowed or couldn't use the facilites while visiting. There should be rules and they should be enforced. However that is easier said than done. I suspect the problems are rarely with the kids but rather with the adult supervision.

Find a park that has stricter enforcement of rules and penalities that suit your needs.

I am in the over 55 group. There is no way on earth that I would go to a park that banned all people under 55. I love to see and hear the children play. Even when they are having their little tiffs amuse me. Time enough to have silence when I have all ten of my toes pointing up. There is more to life then to be so mean spirited. Let the ones who need that silence have it. Lots of other fun places for live people to go.

LMBO! I bet heads would roll if that were ever instituted. LOL

As for me, I spoil my grandaughter, but never let her be unruly and disturb anyone, and ironically, she listens to me WAY BETTER than she does her mom. I only ever have to ask her once to not do or to do something.

if I were in a 55+ park (not 55+ so don't even qualify yet), I think I'd go stark raving mad if the only people I saw were 55+. Being around kids make me feel young, even when they are not sitting properly with arms folded. I am still known to get out there and run and play with them.

I agree that grand kids do not belong in a 55 and older park. My grand kid camps with us all summer and I would never use 55 and older parks.
Why torture the poor kid !!!

Wait until you have some people addicted to that stupid corn-hole game. You'll really go crazy.

I would rather have the kids and the cornhole game If the kids are well mannered than a bunch of yapping dogs.

OMG! Yapping dogs. I hate to even touch that one. We've suffered from yapping dogs at several CGs.... no need to say more.

The corn hole games are every bit as bad. They can last for hours, all day in fact, until it's like a Chinese torture water-drip. Whap,.. whap... whap.. whap... whap.... until you're ready to hook up and leave.

I agree. There is little to do for kids in Senior Resorts and CGs. That could make them unhappy and bored and apt to become nuisances. If we had children with us we'd look for family CGs.
