I believe the movie is about the boy and horse but I have not seen it yet. I plan to see it on DVD.

I'm with you. DW and I have not gone to a movie theatre in decades, nor, seen a film less than a year after coming out. We Netflix almost everything or record (bypassing commercials or being able to fast-forward them).

Thanks. I usually wait until they come out in rental form and then I can control the volume; even then, some movies "wear out" my volume/mute controls.

We saw it on Monday, it's a good movie. As an animal loving person and a one time horse owner there were parts of the movie that had my eyes leaking. It's well acted, the scenery in parts of it is fabulous, and I agree Spielberg is a master at story telling.

I don't agree that the "all family members can watch it". There are parts that are much too intense and violent (there are war scenes) for the little ones, hence the PG 13 rating.
