Did a search for Schwintek looking for something else and stumbled on this thread...

Spoke with a rep at skyline regarding similar issues on my TT with the same slide system. My dealer had done a similar sloppy job. Per the guy at skyline, they have been troubleshooting this issue for Lippert from day one.

Here is what worked for me..

If you extend the slide and look at where the tracks meet outside wall of the slide you will find a weep hole for drainage. Sure enough, my dealer had sealed it with caulk. When it rains, it can't drain down so it follows the track. Inward if you are parked slightly off level. Parking level or slightly lower on the slide side will send the water into the weep hole. Once in there it should drain out the bottom of the rail where there is another hole. As a little insurance, we caulked the end of the rail closed to insure it wouldn't run inside. (It looks like they may have done this in your before and after shots.)

Here is a shot of the weephole I was refering too on mine that shouldn't have been caulked.

So far that has worked well.

I just purchased a 2012 Sunseeker 2250s. My slide is leaking in the exact same place. I havn't even took it on a trip yet. I drove it home from the dealer. The next day noticed that the carpet on the pedistal under the matress was wet. I took it back to the dealer and they told me that the carpet was wet from the steam clean they did before delivery. Last night we had a rain storm and it is very wet in the same place. It is definitely leaking from the slide. I am heading back to the dealer today. I would really like to know if you ever got a fix and if so what fixed it.
