I've finally finished scraping off my 14 year old Diamondshield. I'm planning on using either Line-x or Rhino liner on the front. Question: is one better than the other? Do forum members have a preference?

great if you want the front of the motor home to look like the inside of a pickup box

I have used both in truck boxes and couldn't say there was any difference. What application are you talking about. I might assume that it is on the front cap of the MH. Macktee

I have also used both in pick-up trucks, and I would pick Line-X for the front cap, if that's what your asking for?? Line-X gets hard while Rino stays soft and I would be afraid that things would embed thereselves in the material.. Just my thought..Mike M..

Something to consider, I have line-x in the bed of my truck, it's 6 years old and is starting to fade and has stains on it. Of course I don't do anything to maintain it.

I don't know if it was the application technique or the material, but my storage box on my trailer is covered with Line-X and is a much rougher and more difficult to clean than the Rhino finish on I've seen on truck beds.

Sorry. Yes, I'm planning on putting it on the front cap of my mh. The line-x I've seen at their shop is much smoother than what I've seen used in truck beds. From 15-20 feet away you can hardly tell its not paint.

You are looking at the Line-X Xtra it does not fade.As others and I have observed Line-X is harder to the touch then Rhino.I dont have preference but I did go with Line-X and I really use the back of my truck. And it has had held up great.

I have had both. The Line X faded much more than the Rhino

I'd use Line-X. Pick your installer carefully. It's the installer, not the product that is critical. I'd tape it off to simulate one of those car bras and do it in black. Keep it clean with a vinyl cleaner.
