Sorry I didn't have it for you dreeder when you had your issues, but this is the TSB I was referring to.

Also, this TSB is sort of old. Your Ford dealer should be able to find out if this has been superceeded.

Thanks a bunch guys for all of your comments. I'll let you know what I find out when I go to the Ford garage. Capt Skup, i guess the answer to most of your questions is NO. I changed the oil myself and have never seen any of the issues you're talking about. I did have the Ford garage change the coolant at about 45k miles. Nothing unusual about the oil either. Here awhile back, the engine oil cooler was replaced and the thermostat at the same time. I can only hope it's just a hose issue, but will let you guys know when I find out. Thanks again!
