It's funny-----Normandy is so close and easy for us (british) to get to and it's another area we have not been----------we have yet to visit Weymard !!!

The DW and I travelled to DePanne, Belgium last October for the land sailing championships. We decided to visit Normandy before hand, since my father was there during the war.
We stayed at La Fiere near St Mere Eglise and toured from there.
I would love to return someday soon, Clint

You French guys will remind us of the name of the town that NO-ONE should fail to visit--------still left exactly how it was left during WW11-------We have it on our list of essential things to do-------A very sombre reminder of the effect of war !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes it's a parachute, in memory of a parachutist who is stucked on the roof of the church.
