We will spending some time in Sherwood Park next summer visiting our winter Texan friends and are looking for an RV park preferably in Sherwood Park. We would prefer full hookup but at least need water and electric if a dump station is available. We would be there the third week of July and would be staying 3 or 4 nights. Thanks for suggestions.

Half Moon Lake Resort would be the closest. It has all amenities.

There are several campgrounds in Strathcona County, near Sherwood Park. This is where you will find a list.
http://www.strathcona.ca/departments/Economic_Development_and_Tourism/Tourism/Camping.aspx
(Sherwood Park is the Urban area of Strathcona County, so when you are searching, you need to search Strathcona County) You can also check out Elk Island National Park, I don't know what they have for full hook-ups. I guess that's on the list (Sandy Beach campground) already, though. The ones danager is suggesting are not too close to Sherwood Park. They are to the North and West of Edmonton, and Sherwood Park is on the East side of Edmonton, so it wouldn't be very convenient.
We actually live in Strathcona County, just outside of Sherwood Park.

I just looked at this site and there's a message saying they're closed for further upgrades. It doesn't say for how long.
We stayed in St. Albert for a month at the Kinsman RV park. Full hook up with only 50 amp service. They did provide adapters. Granted it's not in the area of Sherwood Park.
