I've really never collected on anything by belonging. A couple of times I attempted using my CPC when I bought coolant, etc., but the salesperson in parts always said the item was already discounted. Kinda like throwing $19.95 away each year. I'd like to hear your comments. Thanks.

I am like you, not much of a "joiner" when it comes to this kind of thing, BUT I do belong to the Power Club. It has been very cost effective, I use cummins coach care centers for my annual service. 10% off several hundred $$, it pays for itself and then some. A couple of years back, I needed a new fuel pump, rebuilt still cost over $1k, plus 5 hrs labor. If you use cummins coach care, it is worthwhile, if you are a DIY - probably not.

Let see I just had service done in October at coach care and saved 20.68 on parts and 26.17 on labor.

And you can get the same service done other places and save a couple hundred dollars. It has been my experience that Cummins is the most expensive place to get anything done, sometimes you don't have a choice but on service you do.

I have never used Coach Care for service, but was wondering what they do that makes their service job worth $100 more than someone else. An oil and filter change, grease job, inspection on all other fluids, is all the same no matter who does it, isn't it? Or am I missing something? Just wondering!

This past summer I had to have my fuel lift pump replaced and a second fuel filter installed. The bill came to $2500. I was able to join Cummins Power Club for $19.95 and immediately saved $250. I think in my case it was worth it. If you spend just $200 at a Cummins facility you've already broken even.

Your answers have pretty much convinced me that it IS worth the $20. Thanks. Jim

I have belonged for several years and it has save me many 100's of dollars. One years my membership lapsed and I had to take rig into a coach care facility. They said I could simply re-sign up again and get the discount. Don't know if that is a national policy.

We stopped at a Cummins dealer this summer to have our Onan generator serviced. Cost us 2xs more than having it done elsewhere. Won't make that mistake again.
