I have an 06 crewcab silverado D/A 4x4, My interior lights stopped working today, if i hit the unlock on the remote the interior lights work or if i flip the switch on the dash the lights work, but if i open any of the 4 doors or when i pull the key out , the lights don't come on inside. Any ideas would be appreciated

If I read this correctly there is a button switch right by the light switch. It will kill the interior lights if it is off. My SO turns it off all the time for reasones unknown??? Makes me very happy at night!!!

Turtle n Peeps you are 100% right, I have driven this truck for 6 yrs. and have never paid any attention to the little button beside the dimmer switch and that was the problem, i must have hit it by accident the other day when i replaced the driver side mirror because the head would not move and the outside defroster would not work, Dealer wanted $578 to replace the mirror , i got it online for $144 shipped to my house and it took 3 minutes to replace the mirror but 30 mins to figure out how the interior panel came off and went back on. Anyway thanks for solving my interior light problen.

You owe me.

Now can you call up my old lady and please tell her to stop turning off the !@#&*& light switch in my truck!! I always need the light when I'm on the pass side of the truck. I need to see to get something on the seat when it's pouring down rain with no over head lights. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I just want to know why she does this and when I ask her I get a deer in the headlights stare with no answer. LOL, all well, glad you got your problem fixed.
