Historically the Going-To-The-Sun highway has opened around June 15th. Last year, IIRC, it opened in July as it was a good snow year. In 2008 we visited and did a trip part way up the Garden Wall. Took some pictures across the valley at all the water falls. It seems I have duplicates of the above pictures except for the upper St. Mary's Lake.

I can remember, as a teenager, going over the pass and Garden Wall with snow drifts much higher than the car laughing at all the "flatlanders." If you need a car wash take the east to west trip on the Garden Wall.

You'all have a great time in the Glacier area. It can be a little nippy in early June. But the creeks should be running pretty good. The Camas Road is also a good trip. There is a primitive campground at Bowman Lake that a TC can use. When we visited it looked like no one had camped for a while. Fish for trout, I believe that no fishing license is required. Hungry Horse Lake has many Forest Service campgrounds around the lake. I could babble on, but.....

there has been some interest in a second bus for the red bus tour. i am checking into getting a second bus. however, if the second bus doesnt fill up i cant get the individual seat prices at that $33 price on that bus. so, if you have not already had a seat on the bus saved for you and you want to go, let me know. that way i can see if there is enough to fill that 2nd bus.
