Brand new Cardinal push the button to extend it goes down push it to retract it goes down. This is hydraulic jacks. Called the dealer he called Lippert they were confused said try to get it hooked up and take it to the dealer that called them. Had two bottle jacks to raise it up what a pain. Anyone else had this problem?

check valve failure if not hydraulic valve general failure, definitely got something gone wrong in there.

IMHO

Sounds like the hoses are crossed on the valve,or wires on switch.

Sounds like the solenoid valves were wired by an expert carpenter (or maybe a carpet installer). Easiest solution is probably just to cut the existing wire dead and pull new. On a new trailer I would demand that the manufacturer pick it up from wherever it is located and fix it.
