Is there anyone camping in the Lancaster area? I was wondering how road conditions in that area are.

You can try the Penndot website. I think they have road conditions.

I live in Phoenixville about 30 miles northwest of Philly. we still have some major roads closed due to the flooding. I know that the Conestoga river near Lancaster was forecast to go over flood stage yesterday. The Conestoga goes under route 625 just north of Shady Maple in East Earl. Sorry I cannot help you any further. Take care and safe travels.

Turnpike is reopened. Most of the majors are reopen now, with a few exceptions. Just figure if there is low lying road with a waterway next to it, it's probably closed.

Heck of a storm... we are supposed to go camping on the Chesepeake Bay next weekend with a group of friends. Apparently there are some roads down that way that are washed out... no more pavement. Have fun in Lancaster if you can make it there! We were in Hershey 2 months ago, made a day trip and had a blast!

Major roads are open, for the most part. I'd call any CG's you are considering to see if they are back up and running and/or if their access roads are open. Central PA got hit real hard.

Easton to Allentown is just fine! Tomorrow I am venturing over to Harrisburg via 78, I have been told by my hostess that I can make it fine. Still am not sure how to go NW after that to Indiana and how to get to I80.
