I have an ad on craigslist listing my MH for sale and was contacted by RV Registry wanting me to let them list it with them, for a fee(of course). They guarantee me my asking price and suggest that it will sell within 60 days.
Has anyone had any experience with this company in selling their RV, and if so, what were the pros and/or cons? I'm a bit leery, because it sounds too good to be true, and we all know the old adage.

tell them you'll pay their fee if and when it's sold. if they can guarantee a sale then they shouldn't have a problem with that. sounds like a scam to me. anytime anoyone *guarantees* something like that my advice would be to be very, very skeptical.

The trouble with being punctual is that nobody’s there to appreciate it.

I agree with others the guarantee mean to me is give us your money con. and if it doesn't sell trying getting a refund. Ask them to sell it if you can within the time they say and then pay them after the sell it. JMHO

RIP OFF. They do this to everyone that list a MH for sale. I'm sure there are some that fall for it. I'm also siure there are very few if any satisfied customers. They will list it on all of the free sites which you can do.

1. Don't do it.

2. List your RV on serious sites, i.e. rvsearch.com and rvtrader.com -- spend a few bucks for the listing, include lots of pictures, price it right, and you'll reach more serious, qualified buyers. Too many scammers and folks looking for something-for-nothing on CL.

I found mine very recently on rvsearch.com. Present it well and price it right. It will sell.

UPDATE-
Thanks to all responders and after reading their comments and the link supplied to the other forum, I had already decided to pass on the solicitation. The fast-talking salesman called me back at precisely 8:00 AM to get my answer. I told him that I would list it with them if I could pay him after the sale, and I would need to see a written contract. Of course he proceeded to tell me why that wasn't possible, and he got very defensive with me. That really told me his true colors and I'm glad I declined.
Without everyone's help, I may have been out $300.
