With a summer that has included 45 days of triple digit temperatures, I finally managed to get a cloudy Saturday with temperatures in the 80's so I could wash and wax my van. It only took about 5 hours, but would have been longer without my little power wax applicator.
22' long, 6' wide and 9-1/2 feet tall, sure gets big when hand waxing.

NICE! What kind of power wax applicator do you have? Sounds like a great time saver.

Nice job. Waxing the Class B is hard work but rewarding.

It's a 5" Black & Decker built like a palm sander, so it's a one hander. I've had it for years and use it on the van and my pickup. It's small enough that by using one hand, I can switch hands. I have a 10" Dewalt buffer, but I would look like Hulk Hogan if I could do my van with it.

Thanks. I've just used old towels in the past but might have to add a palm sander to my tool inventory.

Careful, he didn't say it WAS a palm sander, he said it was LIKE a palm sander.

If you use a real mccoy palm sander, you'll just be preparing your rig for a paint job.

To have a look at what I think he's talking about, go here. Their products are "top of the line", thus pricey, but, it'll give you an idea.

Cheers

haha...30 grit sandpaper probably wouldn't leave a great shine but a small buffer would be nice to have especially for some hard to reach areas like the roof.
