Well we did Yuma last year to Fl
We did Mission to Fl the year prior
This year La to Fl but we will stay in Fl for most of 3 months, I think.

Looking for a good place, with large lots and street and fair sized to spend winter.
We like to do a lot of the parks stuff (potlucks to bingo).

Any ideas if their is a place newer without more than 50% park models that would be best for a crowd with the same position in life as we are.

We have done Quails run, Frog Creek, Hawaiian Isles in the past.

TIA
Tom

Look at Wekiva Falls RV Resort near Sanford, FL. They have a big spring with waterfall as a center piece. 700-800 spaces, huge place. New owners a few years back and they are still updating and working out the layout, but they have built a new clubhouse and pool, paved the main roads, all new 50A electric. Its an old park that the old owners had let go downhill. The sites were small, they let way too many lowlifes live there, etc. They have kicked most of the lowlifes out. There are still many sites with cracked or no concrete pads but they continue to improve it. We stopped going years ago but now our group goes there several times per year. The location is good in that it is in a quiet location yet you are minutes away from a large regional mall, lots of shopping, stuff to do,. Probably 20 minutes from downtown Orlando. Near I-4. Rates are reasonable.

We're trying Breezy Oaks in Bushnell this winter. They seem to have more snowbird activity. If you love Nascar, you might like Blueberry Hill. It's very clean.

Check out Rock Crusher Canyon in Crystal River. It is a state park like atmosphere with large sites, many trees and natural vegetation. The park has all the amenities and great people in a great area. Give it a look.

Another vote for Riverside RV. We were there last winter for a month, while we were waiting to get into our new house, near by. You will love sitting on one of their four docks in the Peace river, and watching the wildlife,or fishing,or kyaking. The river leads out to Charlotte bay and the Gulf. You will be close to Port Charlotte, and Punta Gorda, for endless dining oportunitys. Lots to see and do in the area. Make reservations early,as Riverside is hard to get into.
