Why don't you two guys take your******to your own thread. Or PM.
Yep, actually drove to all of these places---in the last eight years. Missed Rhode Island and New Jersey.

Luke, I have been on here many years and you are absolutely correct and I apologize to the members of the forum. I know better than to stoop to his level and will not be responding to anymore of his post. It is just not worth it.

Luke, I'm not sure as your guess is as good as mine. As I mentioned, I can only speculate that they are trying to convince shoppers their integrated product is the answer. My Cruiser was all Lippert from the frame to the axles, stairs, Suspension, etc. I didn't have any real issues so I guess that was a plus. It would be nice if they'd explain their perceived benefits.
I do think the Redwood is quite nice, Falcon or not. However, they can't price them IMHO to a Carriage which has a in-house frame, double stack floor, etc.

Go here and on the bottom right of the page click on "Compare the Falcon Frame to other manufacturers"
The competitors B&C have high Lippert content----which is the same as Falcon??
I really don't get their point----competitor C has better axles and suspension and probably steps---why do they point that out?
Looks like competitor B is better, also.

I'll take Competitor A.

Interesting to see how some people have attitudes just as George Carlin once said:

Thanks to all for this thread. Hubby and I have been looking at the Redwood after seeing it in Lansong, MI. I was impressed by the 2 year bumber to bumber warranty PLUS the 5 year frame warranty. Thought that it would cover any probelms that may come up with the frame. I don't understand why they would not simply state that all the components were made by Lippert and that would make any "problem" easier to work out. Why give the component manufacturer a new name? To be honest it is starting to sound like "a great coverup" to me. Are they afraid that if the consumer learns that Lippert is the manufacturer that people won't buy their product? Someone mentioned in another thread about wondering if this was "putting lipstick on a pig". Is Redwood trying to avoid that? I though all we had to do was decide on the floorplan and figure out if the truck would handle the weight. Now I wonder if they (Redwood) are not "upfront" about who actually makes their components, then are they going to be factual with anything else, like their warranty?

According to Redwood articles and also Tom Montague, the FIT frame is made by Lippert to Redwoods specs, much as Crossroads does. It is NOT the same frame as is on Keystone, or any others. For one thing, it is a 12" frame, not 10" which Montana uses. So it should be a lot stronger, and more able to handle the 16k weight. And they actually warranty it to tow up to 3000 lbs, you don't see that on most of the 5ers out there, even the big ones! I don't think they would do that if they thought it couldn't handle it; and they also have a 5 year warranty on the frame. Do you see that on the Montana, for example?

They warranty it to tow 3000LBS? Are you talking about the hitch in the BACK of the trailer?
I read that the frame is built with 12 inch I beam, but then they reduce that to 10 inches at the drop frame area. The saying "it is only as strong as the weakest point" comes to mind.
