our 5th wheel has the lovely 45 degree pipe that connects the john to the black tank. Since my kids don't listen- that pipe often gets clogged with TP. I have to use the flexible wand to clear it almost every camping trip. Anyone know of any tips or tricks to keep things "Moving" (other than plenty of water and not so much paper)

One very SIMPLE solution would be to place a small pale (maybe one gallon) full of water next to the toilet and tell them to pour that in the toilet while flushing it. Not a lot you can do other than using the correct amount of water.

An easier solution would be to make the KIDS unclog the toilet the next time it jams up. If you give them a nasty job they really don't want to do, they'll remember for next time.

Its possible there is a rough edge(s) catching TP with each flush. If possible, check the joint at the 45...

If you don't feel comfortable making the kids clean out the toilet, here are two more suggestions: 1) ration toilet paper; or 2) tell them the next time the toilet gets clogged they are going to be banned from the RV bathroom and will forever more be stuck using the public restrooms and/or bush wacking!
