We are going to the north rim of the Grand Canyon in August; what if any are good places to camp with a 36' fifth wheel?

There are a few sites within the national park that you could fit. We could with our 40' motorhome. However, don't try to use the dump station, unless they've cut down a few trees! Just outside the park in a wonderful Kaibab National Forest campground called DeMotte. They have recently redone their sites and are very nice - no hookups, no dump or water fill so come prepared. About 1/4 mile from DeMotte toward the park entrance, turn right and go as little as 1/2 mile for great boondocking places. If you go all the way to Jacob Lake or Kanab, UT, it's a very long drive to the park. Enjoy your stay. It's a favorite of ours!
