IIRC, the Tucson newspaper (Arizona Daily Star) ran an article last year that said that Beaudry got into trouble by putting up the RV Dealership as collateral to invest in land to build housing developments just before the housing market started going Tango Uniform. If they had stuck to their knitting, they would probably be OK now.

Interesting to read that Beaudry campground had hot tubs at each site and an orchestra. I stayed there the winter before last and never saw a hot tub around me. No orchestra either. Good to hear though that the CG may be back in operation as we really liked it and ended up across town this past winter (not bad there either).

And they cited slow sales and a down turn.Maybe their way of trying to get their people to move there.

The 50 employee layoff in Florida is probably a seasonal thing.

No kidding. You re-opened a thread that's over 3 months old so you could complain that it is very old news.

Good job.

Hmmm. I wouldn't have seen it at all if it hadn't have popped up with a new posting. Somebody must've deleted their entry; shame I didn't quote the one I was responding to.
