Hi,
I was lucky enough that all the campgroudns where full the first time I went there, and the rangers directed me to the free areas in the National Forest. Well it is all free, you just need to find a place. I hope to spend the whole summer there someday.

If you like to boondock there camping in the National Forest just 5 miles from the North Rim entrance.
