100k that should be due for a full tuneup. Make sure you use motorcraft parts on that bad boy.

Yup, do that and regular trany service.

There is probably no AFFORDABLE mods to that engine.

When someone tells you to buy the same rig they own, listen, they might be right. When they tell you to buy a different rig then they own, really pay attention, they probably know something you don't.

A lot of people over on FTE swear by this company. For your truck, I think they would recommend a Y pipe change and some custom tunes. I would suggest calling Mike there, he has a great reputation for excellent customer service and setting you up with exactly what will work best for your situation.

IM sure theres parts that will get that beast moving.

But at 100k, get the tune items/fluids all fresh, then add some upgrades if your wanting more power.

I to have the same truck. Just spent about $7,500.00 on work for it.
The only thing wrong now is the fenders are rotting out, but this is a known problem.

We've got a 99 F250 V10 with the 4.3 and 106k miles. The 4.3 was after market, along with a catback exhaust, FIPK, Transgo Shift kit and larger headers. All this made a huge difference. For some reason DH doesn't want to mess with a tuner, he says something about it making them run hotter?

I installed a Banks Power Pac on a 99 V10. Big improvement in pulling power.
