We have a 2009 3670 BigHorn and the kitchen floor has a tear in the linolium. This happened fron the slide out being out of adjustment. Has anyone changed the flooring in there 5er? Looks like it mite be a pain. This floor raps around and goes in to the living area. Im thinking maybe tile. Thanks for any information.

Hello!

Sorry about the floor issue. I don't have any suggestions but you might ask your question at the Heartland Owners Forum. I am sure you will get some good feedback.

Best Wishes!

When we bought our Everest new in '08, there were staples under the slides which, until yanked out, caused tears in the lino. We took it to an RV repair shop in TX (can't remember the name but they were great) and for less than $200 they replaced it throughout the kitchen/entry way.

That said ... in the last six months we've known 2 MH owners (both very handy guys) who replaced their own with tile. One was a huge success. No kidding, less than 15 minutes ago I got off the phone with the other, who said a couple weeks after completion, the new tile caused huge problems with the slideout. They just upgraded to a new DP!

Depending on how skilled you are, you can do it yourself. We definitely would not. We're not rich, but some things just call for professionals. Good luck.
