I also have an aluminum sided Jayco...and the painted panels can be treated just like an automobile as far as care is concerned. You can also usewhat I use, Simple Green and a clean Micro-Fiber cloth!

The paint used is called "Automotive grade Arctic White paint", so just use a good cleaner wax like Turtle Wax which will keep the dirt from sticking around on the painted surface. Also do not wax over the vinyl graphics. And don't use anything harsh or too abrasive.

Also a set of 4 rain spouts (Camping World) that clip onto the smaller standard spouts will help direct the dirty water from the top of your RV onto the ground without dribbling the siding with dirt.

Congratulations on your new Jayco!

we use a meguiars boat soap with wax in it it helps keep the streaking down and don't strip the wax like some other soaps.

Then use a Automotive grade Arctic White paint?

Not sure I understand what the paint is for.

Just curios, what is reason for not waxing over decals? I would have thought it added protection (especially fading)? Thanks!

Wax contains petroleum distillates. This will cause the decals to peel.

The best thing to use on the decals is 303: http://www.303products.com/shop303/index........ecals-on-your-rvs-motorhome-and-cars.cfm

I store mine indoors so my streaking is minimal, but I do make sure to wash it before and after every trip (including the roof), and I wax it every year too. The wax removes the streaks very well for me and also seems to make them easier to remove next time I wash it.
