Have a friend wintering down in Florida. He called me tonight asking if I can help him located a replacement Power Gear slide motor for his 2001 Bounder 36S.

After spending about 30 minutes Googling and then searching RV.NET it appears Power Gear is going downhill fast! About the only lead I have found was a seller on Ebat who ad what appeared to be a couple NEW Power Gear slides BUT the wrong number(s)!! I shot him an Email asking if he could help me out. No word back yet.

The stock pPower Gear moter is 523725 and apparently a heavy duty model, 523983.

Thanks for any suggestions!

I guess I should be thankfull I don't have powergear jacks!

What part of "South Florida".? If he's in Miami-Dade county or the Keys, look for K & K Trailer, Moblie Home & RV Supply's on south Dixie Hyway #1. They have and know EVERYTHING about Power Gear. When they replaced my Leveler & Slideout motors (under Warranty) they said Power Gear is a very hard to contact company. Ya gotta know how its done. K & K is Expensive tho.

Thanks for the Links bldrbuck. Jolooote, end user is VERY short on cash. So short to the point I think he CAN'T afford to full time but he thinks living paycheck to paycheck is the American way! LOL

I think I'm about ready to call him back & tell him hes on his own!

Thanks God I have HWH gear rather than Power Gear!

All the threads I have seen related to Power Gear are not very promising! Looks like customer service is at the EXTREME bottom of their list.
