My special orders came in….wanted to share some pics.

Old = ST225/75R-15D
Marathons / Carlisle

New = LT225/75R-16E
Bridgestone Duravis R250, mounted on new 6-5.5 16” wheels.

Serious Deep Treads

Metal Valve Stems

Tight, but it Fits

Ahhhh….finally, cruise control set at 68mph, the sweet spot for the Duramax. Got my best mileage yet at just over 10, instead of 8s/9s. Bring on the trailer tire devouring TX summer heat... We’re ready.

I have always had good luck using Bridgestones. When ever I had to replace original stock tires, I used Bridgestones. I hope you have the same kind of luck I did.

I am told that my stock tires have seen some troubles in the past so I am going to keep an eye on them. Any sign of unusual wear and I will be replacing them with a good quality tire like you did.

Do a search on "Tires" (etc.
Spend some time reading the various threads & posts.

If you were told your tires "have seen some troubles in the past" --
you may be in the quick sand already, LOL!

The sign of 'Unusual Wear' will be a large bubble or tread separation...if you're lucky (like I was when I found 3 out of 4 fairly new U.S. made ST tires fixing to blow, 100 miles from home).

Many times it will be someone driving beside you, pointing back to a smoking, shredding trailer tire. Just my experience....on hot roads at slow speeds.
