Any suggestions for boondocking sites?

(Valley of Fire ) also wondered if there was any Verizon coverage in that area?

Between VOF SP and Overton there are tons of acres of BLM land and there are always Boondocker's present....

At about five miles south of Overton at
36.481908, -114.454189
is a favorite boondocking spot.

There are two nice campgrounds within the VoF.

Yes, the park itself has a wonderful campground with staggered sites and great views.

We overnited at the Moapa Casino at the junction of I15 and 169, I think. The latter is the hwy which runs thru the V of F Park.

Very large paved truck park lot with very few trucks, perhaps too close to LV.

I am a major advocate of boondocking..having said that...waking up for the sunrise in VOF is well worth the price of admission. If you do go in...stay away from the big campground and drive on past to the the smaller. Tucked into the rocks..it really is beautiful. In fact...go in at night, in the dark, so you can get the full effect in the morning.
