Hi All,
We are staying in Rockport at the Lagoon RV Park. Do you know of any good Mexican or Steak restaurants in the area. We don't want seafood. Thanks.

We were there recently and ate at a great place that I can't recall the name of. It is a small converted house just North of Charlotte Plummer's, on the same side of the road. I had a stuffed blue cheese burger that was excellent. I do not recall what else was on the menu.

Absolutely !!! go 35 in Port Aransas and right there BEFORE you get to the turn for the island , on your right is a steak house of the finest in Texas.
The Rocking B on your right side , has the best mouth watering steaks in s. tx. Fully stocked bar, great atmosphere, nice people.
Try there prime cut, it is topppppppppppppps !!!!!!!!!!!!
Down three more bloks on your left is the best Mexican food in the area. Taqueria Guadalajara ·cant be beat.
However, in Rockport, on 35 just past Corpus Christi st, is a yellow restraunt with bars on the doors and windows and they have great food at decent prices. Dont worry about the bars, unless you go on Fri or sat night, when the knife and gun club meets.

I think that blue cheese burger was probably at Hammerheads. Check out Los Comalas for mexican food and margaritas. Also, get the seafood nachos, they are not on the menue anymore but if you ask, they will serve them....mmmm.....mmmm...gooood !!!!! aint tha right Andy.....................
