Our Hot Water heater is only giving us luke warm water, has worked well in the past. Any ideas? 99 model, may be time to replace and if so, how expensive is that?

Did you just un-winterize? Maybe left the out side shower on.

You need to provide a little more information. Are you running on propane or electric? If propane turn up the thermostat to a hotter setting. If electric the element may be corroded and need cleaning.

Two things, on my coach I left the outside faucet on and it worked like a mixing valve and mixed the hot n cold water. If that is not it, there is a tempering valve at the outlet of the water heater on many rv water heaters and you will see a hose that goes from the inlet of the valve to the outlet of the valve to control hot water temps leaving the heater, if you pinch this hose and you start getting hot water at the faucet then you have a bad tempering valve at the water heater.

Good Luck

Make sure the bypass valve between inlet and outlet of the tank is closed.
