Just watching the the channel 7 ABC news at 4:00 PM and saw where a Susuzki Samari was off roading in Hesperia off Deep Creek Road and Rock Springs Road trying to cross the Mojave River and the Samari rolled over in the river with a 16 month old boy in a car seat in it. The 2 passengers got out but the 16 month old boy didn't. The boy drowned. The driver was his father and was under the influence. He was arrested for DUI and involuntary man slatter. The 16 month old was under water for 2 hours before the rescue crew could get there and get the Samari and 16 month old out. I didn't get that part. The driver and passanger got out, why didn't they try to get the 16 month old out????IMO the father deserves every bit of whats coming to him. Geeezzz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And where was the boys mother during all this? This guy needs to go to prison for a very long time but he may need some company too.

Another report:
daily press

says that he had been stopped 4 times in the last 2 years and in May of this year he was arrested for being drunk and disorderly and resisting a police officer.

It is so unfortunate the his kid had to suffer the ultimate consequence of his atrocious actions. What consequences has he suffered so far?

It seems we are unwilling to punish criminals to the point that their behavior changes. Instead, the taxpayers will fix his teeth, insure he has the best medical care and mental health counseling.

In some ways, I believe the Muslims could teach us a thing or two.

We are paying a horrific price for our stupidity.
