Hello everyone,
I am pretty new to towing a travel trailer and have a eaz lift hitch with sway control, hooked up by my dealer (after trailer was loaded). I pull a 22 foot jayco sport with a toyota tundra. I like the way it pulls but have a popping noise when turning. It is much worse in damp weather. Is this normal? Can the sway bar be greased for a more quiet operation. I get lots of looks and over the weekend had someone come up and tell me it was making lots of noise(as if I couldn't hear it)!! Any advice would be helpful!!
Thanks!!

Is it the ES Lift or the sway bar. If it is the sway bar you do not grease.
Take the sway bar off and see if the EZ Hitch still makes noise

It is the sway bar. I take took it off when backing in at home yesterday(it is a pretty hard turn) and the noise stopped. I thought it wouldn't be a good idea just to grease on my own without asking!! Thanks!!!

ALL friction based anti sway systems are noisy and they're all worse in wet or damp weather. MOST will quiet down somewhat when worn in with a few thousand miles on them. Make sure you NEVER grease or lubricate the friction pads and NEVER run with them less than completely tightened and some of the noise will disipate with use. to eliminate the noise you'll need a sway system that doesn't have friction pads but even THEY are not completely quiet.

Great!! I have only pulled maybe a thousand miles with this thing, so hopefully some of the noise will go away!! Thank you for your advice!! I will not grease anything!!! I knew this would be the best place to find people with knowledge!!!!
Thanks again,

You can put some grease on the small balls where the sway control mounts but do not put anything on the slider bar or the pads.

I'm gonna mention why you don't grease your friction pads. They're very similar to your brake pads. I've got the same sway control and it makes a lot of noise. I usually loosen mine before doing hard turns such as getting into a site or backing around the house.
