Hi,

If boondocking and no solar system, probably 2 to 3 hours a day of generator time may be needed to recharge the "house" batteries. Even an extremely frugal RV'er may use 40 amp-hours per day.

I see a few comments about the Lifan 2200 at Home Depot. I can't find it on their site. Anyone got a link?

Hi mena,

Yes, Home Depot sold out of all the others pronto. The fact that they did not restock gives me pause. Perhaps there were problems?

Has anyone heard if/when they will get the 2200 version again at HD?

I tried searching other areas of the net and didn't find it anywhere else...

More likely they made a special order as an introductory trial, and will stock more at a higher price if sales were brisk enough,
Mfg make special deals to get a product out in the.market place and write off the loss profit as advertising
