Are you certain the generator is propane fueled? Most are gasoline fueled unless the chassis has a diesel engine.

55 MPH 10-12 is not bad because of traffic these days I cant even go faster than that. Yes I am very certain it is a propane generator and so surprised it was super quite.
Great site lots of information

My next question is if I leave the RV in the storage lots for winter, what is best way to keep the Auxillary batteries and Engine battery charge.

Any ideas will be appreciated.

If you disconnect the batteries to eliminate all the parasitic draws (stereo memories, various alarms, etc.) they should stay charged no problem.
You could also install a small solar panel on top of the RV to keep a trickle charge going into the batteries.
Keep in mind, though, that if you have ANY kind of trickle charger, you MUST (OK, SHOULD) check the battery electrolyte level at least monthly and add distilled water as needed. Use ONLY plastic, glass, or rubber implements to dispense the distilled water.

That was my thought too
I have the Winnie 31C with the same engine, and it's probably about the same weight/size, and I get between 7-9 mpg. Of course, it' much better when I'm driving down hill....but worse when I have the next hill to climb!
Don't think about the cost of fuel.....think of the adventures for you and the family!!

If the cost of fuel is a factor....figure 7 mpg, and then calculate how far you will go on a certain amount of gas. You will be amazed at how much you can visit and see within 210 miles of home....so a full tank would get you there and back (though genset use will also eat into that).

happy Camping
