Have you run through the setup on your receiver and selected the right dish? Your travel dish is usually different than your home dish, so every time you take your home receiver on the road with you you'll have to repeat the setup.

I have a Wineguard dome and it has been flawless-

When we arrive at camp we turn on the receiver, flip a switch to power up the dome and within a minute or two we have TV. If I had it to do over I would get the same thing again.

There just is nothing like sitting the middle of no where- brewing a fresh cup of coffee and tuning into some "fair and balanced news."

X2... we had ours installed this past spring and like fly-boy mentions, a touch of a button and viola.... all the channels you have at home. We have the Dish 1000 Winegard Trav'ler and with discounts and sales coupons, we got ours for $800 plus $250 installation. We take the DVR from home and put it in the MH and upon arriving at our destination, we call Dish and they re-list our present location as "home" and we receive all the local network stations.

X3! We love ours, and have never lost our signal except in extreme heavy rains/thunderstorms/tornadic activity that we were in last summer in K.C. i always hear of signal loss in fog/rain with the Kingdome, but experience zero loss in fog/normal rain.
