Hi
I’m in the shopping, looking, thinking stage of RV shopping. I will soon be vacation on HHI where they have a few RV parks/resorts. I intend on bicycling through the facilities and eyballing the rigs...from a distance .
Would you be bothered if someone came to you while you’re set up and asked your opinion of 5ers, Class A and why you chose what you have. Not asking for a tour…just an honest evaluation of brands, amenities and advice in general?

No. I've had people ask (mainly about the performance of my tow setup), and I've asked others before I bought my trailer about their brands and what they like/dislike. This seems to be especially common if stuck in a line waiting to dump.

Not at all. A lot of people have a problem letting on they spend $40,000 to several hundred thousand on something and it has problems or they wish they had never bought the item. Most RV'ers will be very honest in talking about their rigs good points and the bad.

I've done that, myself, on more than one occasion while in an RV of our own, gathering info for future reference. Most, of course, claim to be happy with them, especially if they are new. Always ask if they would buy the same make when ready to trade. If not, why not?

I'd ask...all that they can say, is that they are too busy or some such thing...and that would be the rarity! Most people will be happy to chat with you....most want to brag about their rigs!
