The bleeder valve on my genset tank has gotten very hard to open over the years. Requiring the use of a cresent wrench or vise grips. I've had at least one bulk supplier tell me they don't want to fill tanks with that problem.

I'm emptying the tank so I can change it but would like to know if anyone knows where I can buy a new valve. Mine seems to be brass. Is this a stock item at most RV stores? Example.

Are these bleeders all 10% valves?

Thanks for any help. I believe my tank is 25 gallon. I have two tanks the same size.

What type tank, If oil/gas go to NAPA. If propane then take it to a Propane dealer, not one of the filling station type. The one that has trucks and can go out and fills tank.

It is a horizontally positioned tank under the RV and is propane. Fuel for the generator. The other tank is the house tank.

And I just realized that since this tank is under the middle of the house, there must be an extension tube from the tank to the propane compartment where the valve is located.
